How It Works: Step-by-Step

  1. Download and install the Abatow Basic (Windows .EXE) program.
  2. Run the program, which starts the local web server.
  3. Open your browser and navigate to the admin page (e.g., `https://localhost/admin`).
  4. Click Create New to set up a new election.
  5. Enter the number of voters for the election.
  6. Click I Agree, Send to consent to sending usage tracking data (number of voters, app version, anonymous client ID).
  7. Enter the election title, organization, and set up the admin username + password.
  8. Confirm admin login to continue.
  9. Add the election positions (e.g., President, Secretary).
  10. Add the candidates for each position.
  11. The system generates random voter usernames & passwords.
  12. Print the list of voter credentials for distribution.
  13. Voting begins! Voters use their credentials to cast their ballots.
  14. The Admin dashboard shows the live vote count.
  15. The Admin ends the election.
  16. Results are displayed instantly to the administrator.
